LIDS Team Sports is a full service team sportswear dealer, custom screen printer, embroidery and sporting goods operator based in Madison, Wisconsin, and a division of Hat World, Inc. Hat World is a niche mall-based retailer of baseball caps operating primarily under the LIDS retail brand. Hat World also sells products and promotes the stores through the websites lids.com and lids.ca .

LIDS Team Sports provides institutional team sportswear and sporting goods to a broad range of customers throughout the United States, including colleges and universities, high schools, corporations, and youth organizations. The team sportswear business offers a diverse selection of products including uniforms, warm-ups, fleeces, polo shirts, jackets, t-shirts, shorts, shoes and other team sportswear and equipment.

LIDS Team Sports was founded as team sportswear dealer Impact Sports in 1990. Impact Sports was purchased by Hat World, Inc. in October of 2008, and adopted the name LIDS Team Sports in March 2010. At the time of the acquisition, Hat World, Inc. President Ken Kocher said, "We view this strategic expansion into the team sportswear and fan apparel business as a strong complement to our retail business. The team dealer business is highly fragmented, but we believe that Impact Sports' business model has been proven to be successful and that it has considerable growth potential. Our goal is to take this business nationwide to be the largest team sportswear dealer in the country." Since the acquisition, the LIDS Team Sports sales territory has grown from 10 states to 30 with equal growth within its sales team.

LIDS Team Sports works with a host of quality suppliers and is recognized as one of Nike's largest team sportswear dealers in the United States. The Company also works with the following brands: Top of the World, Alleson Athletic and Schutt, as well as carrying its' own line of Impact Sports brand apparel.
